On Friday, May 16, former Opp High School standout Amaya Wommack’s current collegiate team the Huntingdon Hawks won 5-3 against the Emory Eagles in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Lucinda Samford Cannon Softball Field at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Emory Eagles in the tournament.

The Huntingdon Hawks’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 3 p.m. at Lucinda Samford Cannon Softball Field.
